Many Such Takes: Christian Polygyny, Blowing Bubba, and More
The most unhinged discourse of the week, always free
Welcome to Many Such Takes! For those unfamiliar, this is a free weekly segment (I also do lots of other stuff—you can typically expect 4-5 paid posts a week too!) For Many Such Takes, I stay up to date with the latest and most chaotic Twitter discourse so you don’t have to.
Also, in case you’re thinking of upgrading to paid, you will get access to CHH CHAT, a chat channel on Substack full of men, women, and people of different political affiliations and sexual orientations who manage to discuss hot topics like sex, dating, parenting, or even politics without killing each other. Join us!!
Good Substack Reads
I always love when I find a really cool article on my feed and then discover this person is not a regular viral-essay-writer but someone relatively new on the scene. Anyway, this week I really liked
’s article about the Twitter main character of the week, Monogamish Guy. I actually didn’t keep up with this one very much so I encourage you to read that article if you want the deets.- wrote Nobody Wants a Monster Girl, examining why monster-fucking fantasies only seem to be popular with straight women (and certainly not with straight men). Very fun/interesting read!
A surprisingly fascinating and topical read from Theology Substack by
, about Gen Z Christian women pretending that finding Jesus made them hot.
Also, please fill out my survey on marriage if you are under the age of 25 (including under-18s, none of the questions are NSFW.)
Christian Polygyny
A while ago, I wrote about the new wave of Christian polygyny, or Christian men (usually pastors or some type of community leader/influencer) having multiple wives, and the fact that it would make life worse for the vast majority of men since there are only so many women to go around. At the time, I was told “nobody is saying this” and that “this isn’t happening.” But alas, it was the Main Character this week!
Christian Twitter mostly had issues with this, but he argued that the use of a singular “wife” in the Bible means nothing because there could be a silent multiplier.
Lore drop:
Best tweet I saw on the topic:

There Are Only So Many Women To Go Around
I’ve done a lot of surveys and interviews with single men, and despite the stereotypes about men wanting a bottomless harem of virgins, most guys are pretty normal. They want a girlfriend or wife, with whom they have intense mutual attraction. But I recently
Blowing Bubba
The Trump/Epstein saga continues, with a new theory that Donald Trump gave a blowjob to Bill Clinton while Jeffrey Epstein watched. The reason for this theory is a series of emails that referred to photos of Trump “blowing Bubba.” (Bill Clinton was known as “Bubba” during his presidency and referred to as Bubba elsewhere in the emails.)
Not to rain on the lib parade, but I don’t think this happened. Mostly because I don’t believe Trump would ever perform oral sex on anyone, even a woman. Having studied the inner workings of his mind for my Trump impressions, I’ve come to the conclusion that he finds any viscous liquids disgusting, especially if they emanate from a human body. Also, Trump would see the act of performing oral sex to be too submissive for his power-based worldview. What these emails likely refer to is what we in the comedy business call a “joke.”
However, in the spirit of good jokes, there were many of them:
There’s a dril tweet for everything:
Funny Tweets/Other Happenings
Amazing “This you?” throwback for Megyn Kelly after earlier this week, she defended attraction to 15-year-olds as “barely legal” and “not pedophilia” (in light of the ongoing Epstein controversy).
This guy accidentally named his open source science initiative after Aella (tbh, seems on-theme! Does Aella not like science?!)
The newest soldiers in the fight against wokeness: cows
Trump really losing the nickname juice with “Marjorie Taylor Brown.”
Ah, that’s more like it:
It’s been quite a week for Trump’s antics:
Bad-Husband-Lady and Neurotic-Wife-Man Review "Fair Play"
A great deal of discourse has been circulating about Fair Play, a card game (or more realistically, conversation facilitator) meant to help couples equitably divide domestic labor. Each card in the “game” is a different task to be distributed, and while the designer, Eve Brotsky (also behind the eponymous book and documentary) is clear about the goal not being a perfect 50/50 split, the endgame should be a division of labor that feels, well,
Trump Will Always Be the Dom
Normally, I don’t publish full articles on Saturday, but today some drama went down between Trump and Musk, so naturally I had to write about it. Bear with me, I will release the free article of the week tomorrow with Many Such Takes.

Thanks for including my monster fucker piece! Also wait til the cow guy hears about India
