And generally, I think that Gen Z has the right idea as far as focusing on kindness, but the notion that a super famous celebrity who says things in public simply can't be criticized for those things ever is very silly and fits the stereotype.
Just based on this reaction alone, I take it back. It's absurd to call "cis" a slur, and anyone who believes that is totally out to lunch. It's fair to say there are some folks online who maybe don't want to have a discussion and just want to use it to shut discussion down. But "slur" is ridiculous and I regret anything I said that could've made it seem remotely legitimate.
