Many Such Takes, Special Edition: Biden is Out, Kamala is In
We are now officially unburdened by what has been
Today I’m releasing a special edition of Many Such Takes because Biden dropping out of the presidential race is too significant a moment for just a segment on the regular Many Such Takes.
Context (in which we all exist): Biden has been getting pressure to drop out of the presidential race after his disastrous performance at the presidential debate. Naturally, our first assumption is that he would be replaced by VP Kamala Harris. Come on, that’s one of the best things about her! Trump, who I’ve said for a while is losing his juice as far as catchy nicknames go, has dubbed her “Laughing Kamala.” It’s so over.
Kamala Having a Brat Summer
Are you having a brat summer? First, no, you’re not, you’re thirty-four. But you know who is? Kamala Harris, endorsed by Biden to be the next Democratic nominee, and endorsed by Charli XCX as brat:
Astrology Girlies Predicted This
Generally, I don’t think much about astrology and when people make predictions based on it, the predictions always seem too vague to be compelling. I may have to change my position on this, though, after what the Astrology Girlies were seen eerily tweeting back in 2020:
