The McDonald's thing is yet another Trump-based litmus test for low vs. high decouplers. On one side you have "Trump is bad, ergo this thing he did must be bad". On the other, you have "Trump is bad, but as far as publicity stunts go this was a good one."

I’m surprised the “don’t let your children read above grade level lest they will exhaust all the books in the world” guy didn’t make the cut

Dating is hard if you’re a man. I could totally see someone ending up 40 without the family he wanted, but still trying to hold out a little hope for one.

It is but it also takes effort and not being weird. Like, a lot of these guys can get laid but cant get a woman to stick around. After a certain point, it’s on you. This applies to men and women. If you couldnt get a 25 year old at 31, what makes you think you’ll do it at 41. Get realistic standards and grow up already. At 33, after a particularly not fun break up, i went on dates with 21-37 year old women. I was 33. The 22-25 year olds will definitely sleep with older men but the 22-25 year olds who sleep with older men are “having fun” and dont want to settle down. Of youre 35-40 and want a family, date a chick who wants to settle down. She can be into you

I'm increasingly finding the stuff that goes on on Twitter and Tiktok stays on Twitter and Tiktok while people who actually go outside and do things have no idea what goes on there.

It's discourse like "is it harassment to eat in at an open restaurant" that makes me realize how many Twitter users are most definitely 14 years old.
