Is it An Open Marriage, or a Hostage Crisis?
When a marriage is opened right after the birth of a baby, I have questions.

For many women, if their husbands ask them for an open marriage shortly after the birth of a baby, they will say yes.
They probably won’t say yes because they want to, or because in the midst of breastfeeding and waking up five times a night or cleaning infinite sharts that smell like Greek yogurt and chickpeas, they’d be jazzed at the prospect of scrounging around for new dick. But they may say yes because they feel they have no choice—isn’t it better this, than an affair or divorce? Maybe he just needs to get it out of his system. And their husbands will, presumably, go out and sleep with other people (or at least try) while the moms stay home caring for their babies.
I’m normally a “live and let live” person, but I draw the line here.
