My Fashion Favorites of November
My favorite things I sewed, bought and wore in November
For those of you new subscribers: although I usually cover social dynamics and culture, I enjoy writing about fashion a few times a month. To wrap up each month, I like to cover my favorite outfits, buys and sewing projects of the month (yes, I sew! I sew a lot! Way too much, honestly.) If you’re curious about what I wore, bought and sewed, keep scrolling. If this isn’t your thing, rest assured there will be non-fashion content coming in the next day or two.
Favorite Fits
I’ve been really excited to wear my Aritzia suit (Morningside blazer and Agency pants). Not that any of you asked him, but this has been one of my husband’s favorite outfits this month. However, when I posted it in a Note, I was told I was giving a combination of the Japanese Imperial Army, Schutzstaffel, and Soviet gulag guard. Not what I was going for, but the vaguely menacing militaristic look is kinda fire, so I’m sticking with it.
Close up of my new favorite blazer:
I used the same jacket, skirt and bag again but paired it with the Enterprise skirt (no longer available in this color, which is Tyson check, by the way) and a pair of Sezane boots. Easily one of my favorite outfits of the month! In case you’re wondering about the occasion, a nice dinner out with my husband, kids, mom, brother and sister-in-law.
This was another outfit my husband really liked, and almost all of it was second hand!
